cut-and-dried

看个例句：I don't understand why he is so well-known. His lectures are so cut-and dried that I have trouble staying awake -- he sounds like he's been giving the same speech for twenty years!
相信今天我们学的不是很难,猜到意思了吧?试着造个句子?
