这是一个带着大家每天背单词的活动，每天上线30分钟，跟着海豚背单词复习单词，快乐地攻下单词难关哦
有些事情可以有捷径，背单词也有捷径，但是没有捷到可以不下功夫就记住，所以，要有吃苦的准备哦。

本节目适用于以下人群：
1、正在备考，还没有背单词的，可以每天跟着我们的节目背单词；
2、已经背过一部分单词的，可以通过我们的节目进行复习，省去了很多复习的精力。

本节目分为如下几个步骤：
1、词根、图片记忆（看海豚给出的关系图形象记忆单词）
2、单词逐词记忆（看单词的英英意思和相关词汇进行立体记忆）
3、例句考核（现学现用，说出题目中黑体字在句子中的含义）
4、昨日重现（复习昨天学过的内容）

今天要学的词缀是：
●late=to bring带来，to bear搬运
●later=side侧面
●lav，lau=to wash洗
●lax，lyse=to loosen放松

做练习的时候发现很多同学都是指回答了单词的本意，在这里海豚希望大家背单词的时候多看一下英语的解释和英语的近义词，多看英英意思才能够知道这个单词的确切意思，因为毕竟英文翻译为中文的释义，还是多多少少会有一些误差。导致我们在理解句子的时候，把中文的意思拿来生搬硬套很容易出错。

delay	词义	① a period of time when sb/sth has to wait because of a problem that makes sth slow or late 延迟或耽搁的时间 ② a situation in which sth does not happen or start when it should 耽搁，延误；延期［+in sth］ ③ to not do sth until a later time or to make sth happen at a later time 推迟，延期［+(sth)，+doing sth］［近 postpone］ ④ to make sb/sth late or force them to do sth more slowly 使耽搁，使拖延
relate	词义	① to show or prove a connection between two or more things 把……联系起来，证明……有关联；有关联［+sth to sth, +wh, +that］［近bear on/upon, connect］ ② to give a spoken or written report of sth; to tell a story 叙述；讲述［+sth to sb］［近describe, narrate］
relate	例句	These facts, however, have previously been thought unrelated. 可是，以前人们认为这些事实之间没有什么内在联系。(2008 知识运用)
relation	词义	① the way in which two or more things are connected; a connection between things (事物间的)联系，关系［+between，+to sth ］ ②［用复数 the way in which two people, groups or countries behave towards each other or deal with each other （人、团体、国家之间的）关系，交往［+between，+with sb/sth］ ③ a person who is in the same family as sb else 家人，亲戚［近relative］
relation	例句	...groups which bring together television, radio, newspapers, magazines and publishing houses that work in relation to one another. 这些集团把相互联系的电视、广播、报纸、杂志及出版社等媒体联合到一起。（2005 翻译）
relationship	词义	① the way in which two people, groups or countries behave towards each other or deal with each other （人、团体、国家之间的）关系；浪漫恋爱关系［+between，+with sb/sth］［近interdependence］ ② the way in which two or more things are connected (事物间的)关联［+between，+to sth ］［近connection］ ③ the way in which a person is related to sb else in a family 亲属关系［+between］
relationship	例句	The wear-and-tear that comes from these longer relationships can be quite devastating. 这些长期的人际关系产生的摩擦具有很大破坏力。（2008阅读Text 1）
relative	词义	① a person who is in the same family as sb else; a thing that belongs to the same group as sth else 家人，亲戚［近relation］；同类事物 ② having a particular quality when compared with sth else 比较而言的；比较的，相对的［近comparative］ ③ having a connection with a particular subject 关于或涉及到……的［+to sth］
relative	例句	Washington... overcame the strong opposition of his relatives to grant his slaves their freedom in his will.华盛顿不顾亲戚的强烈反对，在遗嘱中赋予他的奴隶自由。（2008 阅读Text 4）
translate	词义	① to change speech or writing or to be changed from one language into another （被）翻译，译成［+(sth) from sth into sth, +(sth) as sth］ ② to change sth, or to be changed, into a different form （使）转变，变为［+(sth) into sth］［近alter, transform, convert］
ventilate	词义	① to let fresh air into a room, building etc使通风 ② to express ones opinions or feelings about sth （就某事）发表（意见或看法），表达（感情）［近air］

lateral	词义	① connected with the side of sth or movement to the side 侧面的，横向的；向侧面移动的 ② sth that is at the side or comes from the side 在侧面之物；横向伸出之物 (尤指侧芽、旁枝)
latitude	词义	① the distance north or south of the equator measured by degrees 纬度；［用复数］特指的纬度地区［比较longitude 经度］ ② freedom to choose what you do or the way you do it 选择(做什么事或做事方式的)自由［+in/for sth，+to do sth］

dilute	词义	① to make a liquid weaker by adding water or another liquid 稀释，冲淡［近water down］ ② to make a quality, belief, effect etc weaker or less effective 降低；削弱［近water down］ ③ ［也作diluted］(of a liquid) diluted 稀释的，冲淡的
dilute	例句	Our noses are capable of detecting human smells even when these are diluted to far below one part in one million. 即使把人类气味的浓度稀释到不及原来的百万分之一，我们的鼻子仍然能够察觉到它的存在。 (2005知识运用)
laundry	词义	① clothes, sheets etc that need washing, are being washed, or have just been washed 要洗、正在洗或刚洗好的衣物 ② a place or business where clothes etc are washed 洗衣房, 洗衣店
lavatory	词义	① a toilet or a room with a toilet in it 抽水马桶；厕所，洗手间，盥洗室 ② a sink in a bathroom 浴室水池

analyse / analyze	词义	to examine the nature or structure of sth, esp. by separating it into parts, in order to understand or explain it 分析［+sth, +wh-］
analyse / analyze	例句	With this in mind we can begin to analyze the European television scene. 只有考虑到这一点，我们才能着手分析欧洲电视业的光景。(2005翻译)
paralyse / paralyze	词义	① to make sb unable to feel or move all or part of their body 使瘫痪，使麻痹；使不能正常活动 ② to prevent sth from functioning normally 使丧失作用，使不能正常运作
relax	词义	① to feel calm and comfortable and stop worrying, or to make sb do this 休息，（使）放松，(使)轻松，镇定［+with sth，+sb/sth］［近calm, calm down, ease］ ② to become or make sth become less tight or stiff （使）（身体部位等）放松，松弛；松开 ③ to allow rules, laws etc to become less strict; to allow your attention or effort to become weaker 放宽（限制等）；使（思想或精神）松懈
relax	例句	... relaxation will be in front of smell-television, and digital age will have arrived. ……人们将在气味电视机前休闲，届时数字化时代就要来到了。（2001翻译）

感觉越来越难说出单个单词的意思了，只能整句来了。
