英语写作经常用到的同义词，请大家补充

老是用very  many , often。。。。缺少变化，注定得不了高分，大家一起，把作文经常用的词汇同义词贡献一下呀
表示进步,提高的动词:

看了一下,补充一下:
重要还有:critical, crucial
如果形容情况紧急还有: at the eleventh hour
导致: contribute to(help to cause), arise from, thanks to(后面两个是由于,不过常用过说明原因)
增长和减少: be off, swell
撤消: withdraw
最后补充一点是s.b.提出的point:
claim, advocate, support, argue, hold the opinion of, maintain, put,.......
