There is a photo which is taken in the Olympic Games: when a play is over, the champion is surrounded with beautiful flowers and applauds; simultaneously, the losers are walking alone, no hug, no kiss, no flower, no notice. Why it happens?
It is said that “In the Olympics, the winner owns the gold and everything, the loser gets nothing.” However, there is no doubt that it is not reasonable. Why we hold Olympics? Just for the minority winners? No, the reason why we hold it is that we want to spread the spirit which is” swifter, higher, stronger. ” So, everyone who can surpass himself can be the hero in the Olympics, is not it? Then, how can we stare at the gold only? Nevertheless, if the loser can be encouraged, he will be summon up, and do better next time. Last but not the least, ignoring the players who haven’t won the gold medal is not polite to them.
Consequently, the gold medal is not so vital in the Olympics. What we must focus on most are the spirit of Olympics and the friendliness.
