标题: 向大家请教个问题
1.Ecotourism offers travelers the means to assist personaly and localy in the conservation of the threatened environments and to support communities directly that are seeking viable economic alternatives to end cycles of poverty and enviromental destruction.
这个句子的翻译directly 后的that修饰的是第二个and后面的句子即to support communities
2.The responsibility cleayly rests with ourselves to care for an environmental and cultural diversity which historically we have used merely to serve our needs.
这句话中的which却修饰的仅仅是修饰的是care for 后的句子，同样2个句子都是and连接为什么第1个仅仅修饰and后的短语，而第2个前后都要修饰呢？
希望大家来讨论下共同提高谢谢。

刚才在另外一个论坛看到同样的问题，而且已经得到回答了。

补充一下：environmental and cultural 这儿的and 并列的是两个形容词，都是修饰diversity的，其实定语从句修饰的就是diversity.

跟你上次说的一样，定语从句修饰的是什么除了从语法上考虑，也要从句意上考虑。

楼主的基础还有待加强。

谢谢兄弟啊。嘿嘿不好意思问了个小白问题我没看到环境和文化后面的RAL，太粗心了。依然个人坚持认为英歌力士理解第一，句子结构第二，看帖的XDJM们别喷我。

基础稍好的一般不会从结构方面来分析，从句意上考虑就可以了。
就像我们平时讲汉语，会考虑语法吗？根本不会的。
