因为英语差，有几个地方怎么也看不明白，望赐教
1第一个句子is既然是单数为什么后面jions用复数形式
2第二个句子中的 acid  是可数名词还是不可数名词，turn如果是转变的意思应该加 to.   如果 red是动词那么turn应该去掉

1.膝关节是连接大腿和小腿的大骨头。
2。在水溶液中，酸是化学的混合物，它有尖克的味道，和金属能起化学反应还有变兰色蔬菜染成红色的能力。

[队长提示]：有某些人对这里的joints不太理解，为什么前面是 is而这里就+了S呢，这个问题斑竹已经回复了，我就不多说，is是根据前面的主语而来，而joint主要是针对后面的那个定语从句而言，毕竟人膝盖处的骨头可不只有一块嘛（你要是只有一块却能立起来，队长让你做好了~！嘻！）

[队长提示]：这句话主要讲叙了酸是一种化学化合物，用了并列句的格式来阐述了酸的特性。这里队长把句子中出现的词汇来跟大家做个梳理和扩展（一起进步哈~！）
     一：[同根词汇] compound ---- 混合物
                           composition --- 成分
                           compose --- be composed of --- 由。。组成     
     
     二： action on ===effect on 对。。。起作用  (前几次活动中出现的:Because of its ittitating effect on humans..... )
     
     三：certain ----这个词汇啊，我们潜意识都会翻译成“当然”，因为受到“certainly”的影响（至少我是这样），但是考察的意思是“一些”。
                     certain [表语] + to do {必定的} 或者 +of/that...{确信的}
                               [定语] 某一，某：a certain lady {某女士}      
        
        同时在这里队长还将为大家区分一下certain 和 sure的区别：
             EG：A： i am certain of his success
                    B：he is certain to success
                    C：it is certain that he will success
               ------这里的A和B句中的certain 可用 sure 替代，而C句不可，即：sure的主语只能是人。
      
      四：看看dye和die的差异哈 （其实dye很好记忆，就是bye换个字母嘛！哈哈！）
                       die-------dying----------died
                       dye------dyeing--------dyed

                二： 这里的“depth”大家一定要特别注意哈，我最初一看，还以为是“depend on”,真是牛头不对马嘴，后来查阅字典才知道，这里的depth是deep的名词 。（大家可千万别跟队长一样粗心哈~！）
