It listed all the tradesmen in each village in my part of the country, and it was impressive to see the great variety of services which were available on one's own doorstep in the late Victorian countryside.

在我故乡的某些地方列出了每一个乡村的所有商铺，而且使人印象深刻的是在近期维多利亚的乡郊看见大量种类的服务，就写在每个店铺的台阶前。

这句话前面的一句话是“I came across an old country guide the other day”  ，可能有助于你理解这一句。

这句话应该是an old country guide 上的内容， in my part of the country我觉得可以直接翻译在我故乡/家乡，因为country太大，他家所在的地方当然是my part of the country.
in the late Victorian countryside应该是在维多利亚时代晚期的村庄，后一句我我翻译是：在维多利亚时代晚期的村庄，人们在自己家门口就能够得到各种各样的服务，这很令人印象深刻！

我觉得你的翻译有一些逐词翻译的成分在里面，当然我不得不说这是我自己缺乏的部分所在。我从以前到现在做翻译的时候都是理解大意后怎么看着翻译顺畅就怎么理，所以有时候就会漏翻什么的，所以你要不要再尝试一下把这个句子翻译一下？？

第一眼可能到你的中文，有点晕。好像断句不怎么清晰啊。我觉得如果中文不能用长句翻译出来，不妨尝试断句，而且原文已经给你断的，你还连上了In the information technology industry，我觉得这句应该翻译完了就断开！

好吧，其实我也是来尝试的

在信息技术产业，人们广泛认同这一点，未来信息部门实现商业目标的好坏不仅依赖于技术的跟新换代，这一部分也是很必要的，而且也依赖于挽留住精于掌握最新科技的人才的程度。

额，其实也应该再推敲一番，我觉得用词，但是意思的话我觉得应该是我理解的这样！！

我移交给了另一个版主管理，但是可能她最近在开学，好像还没有弄
